1.) Plaza de Castilla - Spain

These awesome-looking buildings are located in Madrid, Spain. They are comparable to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The Tower of Pisa leaned due to structural defect while the twin towers or buildings at the Plaza de Castilla were intentionally designed this way.

The beautiful and uniquely-designed Putrajaya International Convention Centre is located in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The unique design of this spectacular structure is based on the shape of the eye of 'pending perak', a silver Malay royal belt buckle.

This unique circular edifice is the Ak Bugdaý Museum. The name Ak Bugday means White Wheat. This uniquely-designed building is located in Anau, the capital of Ahal province in Turkmenistan.

6.) Eden Project – United Kingdom
The Eden Project is a unique complex consists of domes that hold plant species from the different parts of the world. These transparent domes are made of out of hundreds of hexagons and each dome emulates a natural biome (tropical, temperate, Mediterranean, etc…). This unique tourist attraction is located in the United Kingdom. The Eden Project also housed the largest greenhouse in the world.

This wonderfully built edifice with an area of 12,000 m² can accommodate 5,452 people. This dome of titanium and glass is informally described as The Egg.

One of the best and uniquely designed airport terminals in the world is the TWA Flight Center in New York, USA. The TWA Flight Center or Trans World Flight Center is a historic landmark of New York City. It was opened in 1962.
10.) Superior Dome – USA

You are looking at the largest wooden dome in the world – the Superior Dome. This stadium, which opened in 1991, is located in Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan, USA. It is the home field of the Northern Michigan Wildcats football team. It has a seating capacity of 8,000 but the building can hold as many as 16,000 people.

This unusual looking structure called Yoyogi National Gymnasium is well-known for its suspension roof design. This unique arena is located in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. It was built to accommodate swimming and diving events of the 1964 Summer Olympics. This gigantic building is now being used for ice hockey and basketball and can hold 13,300.

This unusual structure is located in Australia and is the most famous landmark of Canberra, the countries capital. Shine Dome is remarkable for its unique design aside from the fact that it has the largest in Australia with a diameter of 45.75 m. This dome is formerly known as Becker House.
14.) Spaceship Earth – USA

For me, this unique architectural masterpiece looks like a giant golf ball. Although, to me, this object resembles a golf ball, it is called Spaceship Earth. It is the iconic and symbolic structure of Epcot, a theme park that is part of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Spaceship earth is my favorite, but why does number 1 strike me as defying the laws of physics? I mean, hows that even possible? It looks like it's going to fall.
